Biography of Micah O'Brien

Micah O’Brien is both a Florida raised and schooled writer of mainstream fiction. He is proud to be an Author, and a Southern writer of both short stories and novels.

His writing world includes all that is real, maybe known, and the south, stories form the all-knowing but non-caring tides of the Florida east coast to the tales form the story-telling Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Both the constant moving of his ocean and the stability of his mountains, both melded with his books and memories, sets the foundations for so many of his stories.

It is from these Norman Rockwell roads and the story-telling trails that he shares all that makes up the special people of the South, all that away form theme parks and glitter, stories of those with their feelings and emotions branded on their arms where they can easily be seen, felt, and known for the world to see. That is not unlike the Author himself as he shares lives of work and love, of quiet and joy, of low land and high, as he shares all that is life itself.
